576 +ve Cases In Delhi So Far, 35 In ICU And 8 On ventilator: Health Minister
Mumbai: Delhi Health Minister Satyendra Jain on Wednesday confirmed a total of 576 positive COVID-19 cases in Delhi, of which 35 patients are in ICU and eight on a ventilator.
In the Health Bulletin, the Directorate General of Health, Government of Delhi, said 51 new coronovirus-positive cases have been reported in Delhi today, 35 with a history of abroad, four from deaths and two deaths.
Talking to reporters, Jain said, “We have tracked many people who participated in the Tablighi Jamaat. We have about 2600-2700 people in quarantine. So far 3000 people have been rescued.”
Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal is scheduled to hold a meeting through video-conferencing with all members of Parliament from Delhi on Wednesday about the current coronovirus situation in the national capital.
The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare said on Wednesday that with an increase of 773 cases in the last 24 hours, India’s COVID-19 cases crossed the 5,000 marks with 5,194 cases.
