Mumbai: Indian boxer Amit Panghal received a silver medal in the 52kg category at the AIBA World Boxing Championships 2019 in Russia on Saturday, after landing against Olympic champion Shakhobidin Zoirov.
Amit became the first Indian male boxer to win a silver medal at the World Championships. The bout was defeated after a 5: 0 decision in favor of Zoirov.
