Budget Will Enable India To Become A More Vibrant Start-Up Hub: Amit Shah

Mumbai: The Union Home Minister Shri Amit Shah has called the Union Budget 2019 as truly a budget of hope and empowerment.

In a series of Tweets, Shri Amit Shah said it highlights the exemplary work in key sectors relating to the economy, housing, infrastructure and the social sectors over the last five years and on this basis, ignites a spirit of hope that India can become a 5 Trillion Dollar economy in the coming years.

The Union Home Minister further said that today’s Budget For New India’ has set the stage for fulfilling our collective dreams of water for every citizen, ensuring electricity connectivity across India and boosting manufacturing, especially in sunrise sectors.

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh praised Budget 2019-20 by Sitharaman, India has successfully added one trillion dollars in its GDP in the past five years. Now, this Budget prepares the nation for a giant leap of doubling the size of India’s economy and making our country a five trillion dollar economy in the next five years he said.

“The Budget has also paid special attention to strengthen healthcare and social care, employment generation and promote entrepreneurship among women. The Budget has announced several policies and programmes to support India’s farmers, agriculture & rural infrastructure, ” Singh further said.

Minister of Road Transport & Highways, Nitin Gadkari said “This is the vision that 125 cr people of the country required today. We will achieve the target of becoming 3 Trillion Dollar economy this year and the MSME sector will contribute half of it.”

Union Cabinet Minister for Textiles and Women & Child Development Smriti Irani tweeted saying, Proposals made in #BudgetForNewIndia to encourage, empower and recognise local artisans and crafts is a huge boost for the traditional industry of our country. Benefits will not only enhance ease of living of artisans but also go a long way in preserving crafts of our Nation.”
