India, Russia To Practise Joint Air Force Exercise From December 10

Mumbai :  In the recent development Indian Air Force (IAF) and Russian Federation Aerospace Force (RFSAF) will start their service-specific exercise from 10th December to 21st Dececmber at Air Force Station, Jodhpur and Rajasthan.

In 2014, the first phase of joint exercises was done between ‘IAF and RFSAF’, formerly ‘AVIAINDRA’.

The Ex-AVIAINDRA 2018 will be the second series of bilateral joint exercises, which has been employed in two phases between India and Russia. . IAF and RFSAF pilots flew RFSAF aircraft during the training exercise organized in Lipetsk, Russia in September this year. Variety of activities have been organized on the occasion of flying exercises, such as formal talks, discussions, exchange of ideas and friendly sports matches as well.

In India, the RFSAF-IAF pilot IAF aircraft will fly, which are common for both air forces.
