Mumbai: Indian tennis player Sumit Nagal has been knocked out of the Tokyo Olympics after losing his men’s singles second-round match to world number two Daniil Medvedev, who’s representing the Russian Olympic Committee (ROC) team.

Medvedev defeated Nagal 6-2, 6-1 in the second round to progress further ahead in the Olympics. The entire match lasted for 1 hour and 6 minutes.
