INDvsBAN: Indian Bowlers On The Top As Bangladesh 6 Wickets Down At Launch

Mumbai: The time came when Indian test cricket is been upgraded. Pink ball Day-Night test match started. Bangladesh PM Sheikh Haseena had a handshake with all the players along with BCB president  Nazmul Hasan. Bengal  CM Mamta Banerjee, BCCI President Sourav Ganguly and God of Indian cricket Sachin Tendulkar. The iconic bell-ringing ceremony was done by the hands of Sheikh Haseena and Mamta Banerjee.

Bangladesh won the toss and elected to bat first yet again. 2 changes in the squad tall right-arm off-spinner Naim comes in for Mehidy Hassan and pace bowler Al Amin comes in for Taijul Islam. No change in Indian squad as earlier predicted.

Umesh Yadav was slightly off colour in his starting spell. Whereas after bowling 3 maidens Ishant got the wicket of Imrul Kayes by a ball nipping back in and struck off his pads. Pink ball is swinging hard and moving late after passing the batsman. Wriddhiman Saha stopped those late swinging deliveries very well. Umesh in his comeback spells straight away picket 2 wickets in an over. First of Captain Mominul which was caught in slip by Rohit Sharma by just single hand which was a beautiful catch and just 2 balls later bowled Mohammed Mithun. Both the batsman was dismissed for 0. Shadman Islam was dismissed by again Umesh Yadav.

Mohammed Shami picked key batsman Mushfiqur Rahim for 0 as he chopped the ball by getting an inside edge. Ishant got another key batsman Mahmudullah. For 6 another great take by Wriddhiman Saha. Mohammed Shami hit the ball on the helmet of Liton Das who was batting well and when he got 2nd hit he decided to go off. And concluded 1st session that was named as India’s session. Bangladesh in the first session got 73 runs and lost 6 wickets.
