Italy Reports 717 Deaths Due To Coronavirus In 48 Hours, Total Reaches 2,158

Mumbai: Italy reported 349 new deaths from coronaviruses on Monday, totalling 2,158. The hardest hit of the European country Coronovirus was 368 deaths on Sunday.

Italy now has 27,980 infections compared to 15,113 four days ago. Milan’s Lombardy region recorded 1,420 deaths, accounting for 66% of Italy’s total.

Cases of the virus, which originated in the Chinese city of Wuhan, has been reported in over 130 countries, including India, where over 110 people have been infected.
