Mumbai: A 54-year-old man, Srinivas Ganji, was arrested by the Oshiwara police for allegedly shooting his 30-year-old son, Vicky Ganji, in the chest.
The son supposedly had a problem with his father’s relationship with a woman. They had fought over it multiple times.
According to the police, the incident had taken place on Monday. The victim was killed at 8:45 in Narmada Building near the Oshiwara police station.

The police on reaching the murder site, found the victim lying in a pool of blood. He was declared dead when taken to the Cooper hospital in Ville Parle.
The police registered a case of murder and began looking for evidence, they checked the CCTV footage too. Investigation showed that the victim was unemployed, divorced and a drug addict.
“We have arrested the victim’s father and he has been booked under relevant sections of IPC for murder, destroying evidence and possessing arms illegally. Our probe is on,” said a senior police officer.
