Number Of Coronavirus Cases In India Rises To 7,447, Death Toll Reaches 239

Mumbai: With 40 deaths and 1,035 new COVID-19 cases in the last 24 hours, India has seen the fastest increase in coronovirus cases on Saturday, with the number of infected people in the country at 7,447 according to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. Saturday. Service.

According to official data, out of 7447 COVID-19 positive cases, 6,565 are active cases and 643 recovers, discharge and migrate, and 239 patients who fall prey to the virus.

Maharashtra has the highest number of 1,574 cases in the country, including 188 treated and discharged and 110 deaths, followed by 911 Corona positive cases in Tamil Nadu.

Meanwhile, 903 cases have been registered in the national capital, with 25 recovered cases and 13 deaths.
While 553 have been found positive for the infection in Rajasthan, 473 have been reported in Telangana and 18 in Chhattisgarh and Chandigarh.

Uttar Pradesh and Haryana bordering the national capital have 431 and 177 cases respectively.

Kerala, which reported India’s first coronovirus case, has 364 confirmed cases.

The newly carved Union Territories – Ladakh and Jammu and Kashmir have 15 and 207 cases respectively.

The lowest number of COVID-19 cases have been reported from the northeastern region of the country. While Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram and Tripura have only 1 corona positive case, Assam has 29 people infected with the virus, the highest in the region.
