PM Modi To Hold India’s First Bilateral Virtual Summit With Australia

Mumbai: A Pioneering India’s first-ever Bilateral Virtual Summit with Australian PM Scott Morrison today, PM Modi will signify the strengthening of India-Australia relations.

“As two democratic nations, India and Australia have developed an understanding of each other’s perspectives on regional and global issues. We have a shared approach to a free, open, inclusive, and prosperous Indo-Pacific,” read the statement.

The leader will be reviewing the Covid-19 situation of their respective countries and also exchange words on economic revival.

Morrison’s scheduled plan of visiting India recently was canceled. Hence, an official virtual meeting will be followed that will provide an opportunity for both the leaders to work upon the trajectory for the country to share warm and friendly relations with each other.

Earlier, PM Modi and PM Morrison have met four times during the last one and half years.
