Mumbai: After visiting Kedarnath PM Narendra Modi visited Badrinath temple and offered prayers as part of his two-day spiritual tour.

After coming out of the Kedarnath cave on Sunday, Narendra Modi thanked the Election Commission (EC) that permission to start his spiritual journey was given when the Model Code of Conduct (MCC) was implemented.

PM Modi said, “The Almighty can bless not only the entire nation but the happiness, prosperity and welfare of mankind.”

He said, ‘I get the privilege of going to the temple on many occasions.’
However, many leaders of opposition parties criticized the Prime Minister, they alleged that this election violated the Code. While TMC leader Derek O’Brien filed a complaint in the Election Commission, Congress’s Ashok Gehlot also pulled up PM Modi.
