South Korea Reports 84 More COVID-19 Cases, 8,320 In Total

Mumbai: In a recent report, South Korea has seen 84 new cases of the novel coronavirus on Tuesday, marking the third consecutive day that confirmed cases remain below 100 in the country.

According to the report of the news agency Xinhua, the total number of infections has reached 8,320 in Tuesday’s figures. The country has recorded a fatality rate of 0.99 per cent compared to the global average.

A total of 264 more patients were discharged from quarantine after complete recovery, with the combined number dragged to 1,401.

Globally, the virus, which originated in the Chinese city of Wuhan, infected more than 167,500 people and killed 6600 others.
