SSR Was Being Over-Drugged Without His Knowledge: Family Lawyer Vikas Singh

Mumbai: Shushant Singh Rajput death case has been full of twists and turns and in the new development Vikas Singh, lawyer of the late actor’s father has said that Rajput was being given something without his knowledge.

Singh further said that when the late actor’s family filed an FIR in July in the alleged suicide case of his son, there was a perception that he was being drugged under the guise of prescription drugs.

Singh said, “When Sushant Singh Rajput’s family lodged an FIR, there was a feeling that overdoses of medicines were being given to Sushant, which could spoil the mental balance too much.”

“But now, as some reports have shown, it was a banned drug. If it is a banned drug, it will lead to suicide and murder. There will also be a Narcotics Control Bureau issue. The scope of action will increase to a great extent, ”he said.

Meanwhile, on Tuesday, the lawyer for Rajput’s girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty rebuffed a WhatsApp conversation hinting at her alleged use of banned drugs, saying she had never consumed drugs and was ready for any tests.

“Rhea has never consumed drugs in her lifetime. She is ready for a blood test at any time.” Her lawyer Satish Maneshinde said in a statement.

Manasinde’s explanation came after the ED, investigating the money laundering angle in the Rajput death case by the ED, shared some evidence about the alleged link to the banned drugs to the CBI and the Narcotics Control Bureau.
