UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath Meets PM Narendra Modi ‘Discusseed About Arrangements Of Upcoming Festivals’

Mumbai : In the recent development UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath meets Prime Minister Narendra Modi, they both discussed about various arrangements made for upcoming Kumbh Mela which is going to take place in Prayagraj (Allahabad).

The festival will go on floor from January 15 2019, the festival will witness huge number of Hindu devotees were they believe that taking dip in water of holy river will clean their sins.

The main festival site is located on the banks of a river, the Ganges (Ganga) at Haridwar; the confluence (Sangam) of the Ganges and the Yamuna and the invisible Sarasvati at Prayag; the Godavari at Nashik; and the Shipra at Ujjain. Bathing in these rivers is thought to cleanse a person of all their sins.

Moving ahead Chief Minister Yogi, also discussed about the prepration for ‘Pravasi Bhartiya Diwas’ the festival which will take place in Varanasi. Pravasi Bhartiya Divas, is a celebratory day observed (starting in 2015) on 9 January by the Republic of India to mark the contribution of the overseas Indian community towards the development of India.

The Regional Pravasi Bharatiya Divas 2018 was held during 6–7 January 2018 at Marina Bay Sands, Singapore.

The 15th Pravasi Bhartiya Divas 2019 will be held during 21-23 January 2019 at Varanasi, India. Prime Minister of Mauritius,Pravind Jugnauth will be the chief guest, organized by Ministry Of External Affairs, the theme of 15th Pravasi Bhartiya Divas is “Role of Indian Diaspora in Building A New India”
