Mumbai: In a shocking incident a nine-year-old girl was raped by her uncle in Uttar Pradesh’s Banda PTI reported.
Officials said the girl was abducted by her uncle from her house on Saturday night while she was sleeping.
He allegedly took her to a forest and raped her, said Ram Dinesh Tiwari, SHO of Tindwari police station.
The accused, identified as Chandu, was arrested by the police on the basis of a complaint lodged by the girl’s father, Tiwari said, adding that he confessed to his crime during interrogation.

The SHO said that the girl was recovered from the forest on Sunday and taken to the hospital, where her condition was stated to be stable.
