Mumbai: In a shocking incident, a class 3 student was allegedly raped by three brothers, all minors, at a primary school in a village here, PTI reported.
The girl was raped by a 13-year-old student and her two brothers on August 16 in the bathroom of a government school aged 10 and 11 respectively. All three are students of the same school and study in class 5, 7 respectively.
Police said the three have been taken into custody, will be produced in the juvenile court.
The case came to light on Monday when the victim’s family met Superintendent of Police Pratap Gopendra Yadav, alleging that the police were not registering the case and forcing it to compromise.
Keeping the case in mind, the SP removed the SHO, Ramala, Naresh Singh, and sent him to the police lines and has also been ordered to investigate against him to try to suppress the case.
Basic Education Officer, Rajiv Ranjan Mishra said that the principal and the teacher of the school have been suspended and orders have been given to investigate the matter.
The girl is undergoing treatment and her condition is stated to be stable.
