Stop Interfering In Our Internal Matters: India To Pakistan After UNSC Meeting On J&K

Mumbai:  Defending its decision to scrap article 370 which provided special status to Jammu and Kashmir, India slammed Pakistan and said for interfering in the internal matters of the country, saying that Pakistan was misleading the world.

This came after China expressed “grave concern” over the situation in Kashmir at a United Nations Security Council (UNSC) meeting, stating that it was “serious and dangerous”.

Syed Akbaruddin, India’s permanent representative to the United Nations, while addressing a press conference at the UNSC, said that Article 370 has “no external influence”. Syed Akbaruddin said, “Our national position is related to Article 370 of the Indian Constitution and it is entirely an internal matter of India.”

“The Chief Secretary of India and Jammu Kashmir has announced that the Union Territories are moving towards normalcy. Internal changes are not changing the external orientation. We are committed to all the agreements signed on this issue,” he said.

Slamming Pakistan for interfering in India’s internal affairs, Syed Akbaruddin said, “I have been a member of several Pakistan delegations. Stop terror to start a dialogue. One state is using the technique of jihad” And is organizing violence in India. “

India also said that Pakistan is trying to mislead the world.

Syed Akbaruddin also said that the decision of the Government of India was aimed at promoting good governance and development in Jammu and Kashmir.

“They have no external influence, recent decisions taken by the Government of India and our legislative bodies ensure that good governance is promoted, socio-economic for our people in Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh,” he said. Development should be encouraged.”
