Mumbai: One of the Indian renowned sports person P.V. Sindhu again suffered a shock of first-round match exit from the China Open against Chinese Taipei’s Pai Yu Po in Fuzhou on Tuesday.
World No.6 PV Sindhu, who made early exits in Korea and Denmark, lost 13-21; 21-18: 19-21 to world No.42 Pai in a 74-minute women’s singles match in China Open.
However, Satwiksairaj Rankireddy gave the Indian camp reason to be cheerful with twin victories in the men’s and mixed doubles categories.
